The typical Secret Service agent that comes to mind for most people is the dark suit, glasses, earpieces, code names, and more, but is that only how they are portrayed? Some think that the Secret Service does nothing, while others think that they are very diligent and dedicated federal agents, but in reality, the Secret Service stops many attacks every day. The typical American is ignorant towards this. That is why, when the Secret Service slips up with Bush and the shoe, everyone gets mad at the Secret Service for not doing enough. But in reality, they do very much.
